We are filled with gratitude. Thanks to your generosity, our Shower With Love campaign raised $6,479 from 27 donors—each gift helping create the time, space, and support families need to reconnect, heal, and thrive.

This year, we launched a brand-new event: A Morning with The Family Room. Held on April 3, it welcomed 81 adults, 11 children, and 4 incredible childcare helpers into a space full of stories, courage, and connection.

We were honored to hear from Jillana Goble and Jennifer Bracken, whose shared story of reunification captured the heart of our work. Jillana’s words reminded us all:

“When there’s breath, there’s hope.”

We also shared Jessica’s story—a former Family Room participant, now a licensed counselor and board member. Her journey is a reflection of what’s possible when families are surrounded with consistent support, compassion, and dignity:

“They believed in me before I believed in myself.”
“The Family Room gave me a reason to believe I could be a good mom.”

Throughout the week, Executive Director Jen Browning highlighted several of our Family Room program sites during our online campaign. We also spotlighted one of our generous sponsors, Kristina Davis and her family—longtime supporters whose involvement includes volunteering, event sponsorship, and even providing beautiful cookies from Kristina’s business, Doughmestic Architect.

“The Family Room provides time, safe space, meals, and activities—simple things that help families heal, connect, and deepen their bond.” – Kristina Davis

To everyone who donated, attended, invited a friend, hosted a table, or simply said yes to learning more—thank you.

Your support showers families with love, hope, and dignity and helps build a future where children and their birth parents are supported in staying connected and growing together.

Thank you!

Even though the campaign has officially wrapped, it’s not too late to give. If you haven’t had a chance or feel moved to give again, your support is always welcome and deeply appreciated.
